Subject: Kohala Kai development
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to urge the county council to reject Kohala Kai LLC's proposal to alter the ancient
ala loa trail & undermine traditional & customary practices & public uses of the shoreline
north. The King's Trail should not be moved, privatized, and otherwise altered to deny access
to well known fishing and cultural sites. Please protect the public's rights to use the Kohala
Coast as they have done since time immemorial.
