Aloha,
I am writing in support of Bill 113. I think that it should be passed now, as is. A consensus is growing
among the qualified and caring scientific community that both GMOs and glyphosate in the food supply
is contributing to many chronic diseases. This bill doesn't constrain university experimentation, except
to require that it be done safely and without contamination. With the kinds of budgets universities are
given from biotech companies, surely in Hawai'i they can afford to do their research safely and
correctly.
