We are delighted to provide you with this Y2K & YOU tool kit. We recognize
the challenges that the millennium bug presents local governments and are
committed to assist you as you work to develop appropriate solutions.
Public Technology, Inc. (PTI) and its sponsoring organizations, the National
League of Cities (NLC), National Association of Counties (NACo) and
International City/County Management Association (ICMA), have produced
this tool kit, to help you meet this challenge. The resources in this kit will
offer local governments the help needed to develop remediation strategies.
We would like to hear from you regarding the usefulness of this took kit and
how we can provide additional assistance to you. In addition, should you
have information or materials that would be helpful to other local
governments, please send it to us so that we can continue adding to this' tool
kit.
