RESOLUTION NO. 265 14 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR WILDLAND BOOTS FOR THE VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS IN DISTRICT 5. WHEREAS, the Hawai`i Fire Department has identified the need for wildland firefighting boots for volunteer firefighters assigned in Hawaiian Acres, Fern Forest/Eden Roc, Fern Acres, and Ainaloa of District 5; and WHEREAS, there are currently 33 volunteer firefighers in District 5; and WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to the Hawai`i Fire Department for the purchase of 33 pairs of wildland firefighting boots; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: FUND: GENERAL AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $6,600 OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $6,600 CREDITED TO: 010.221.5226.02 Hawai`i Fire Department $6,600 Trng & Voluntr Fire OCE 231 Public Safety S (Wildland Firefighting Boots for District 5 Volunteer Firefighters) BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution to the Fire Chief and the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
