To the Honorable Council,
I am a writer and wellness consultant living in Hawaii for 8 years.
Subsidies go into making the worst possible foods, not beets and broccoli.Why is this?
Obama said we would label genetically modified foods in 2007. Europe labels GMO foods.China even
labels GMOs. But we don't, because people don't want to eat them and the corporations who control
our government who control our agricultural industries don't want to advertise what they're putting in
foods. People wouldn't buy them.
They've seen the research.Tampering with nature can produce disastrous results. Hair growing in the
mouth,intestines outside the body,people who don't want to live anymore because depressed nervous
systems are full of toxins produced by corporations who control our government.
GMO foods damage the organs,destabilize the digestive tract and cause immune system failure,all the
while disrupting endocrine glands that control our hormones.GMO foods with the companion pesticides
needed to grow them cause babies to be born with leaky guts and half-formed brains.One field of
cotton stubble eaten by cattle for years killed the entire herd in one day after eating GMO plant debris.
One day of eating GMO-infested plants,an entire herd. Dead.
GMOs are a ticking time bomb. Nobody wants to eat them.That's why the corporations are fighting
GMO labeling all across the planet. If we can keep our island safe from GMOs we will be doing humanity
a good turn.
Let's make a stand,the last stand,against GMO foods. Keep our children safe. Put our babies first. Don't
screw with mother nature. Hawaii will become the last natural food stand in the world,and we can help
recalibrate the rest of the world when this insane chapter of history when corporations are trying to
drug every person in America.
Food ought to be medicine,not Frankenfoods poisons. People are forced into using pharmaceuticals and
undergoing unnecessary surgeries from diseases caused by these foods. Natural food is good medicine.
Bill 113 is good medicine. It could be even better,but it's a start.
GMOs are a ticking time bomb. Defuse it here, now,in Hawaii.We don't have to give into the
corporations that are deforming our food systems and our children.We can lead the world with good
medicine. Let Hawaii be the home of go, medicine. ,Th
