Although I preferred the bill in previous incarnations, this is still a potent tool for prohibiting the arrival of large-scale farming using GMOs and their related and linked pesticides. All problems that farmers encounter can be handled using conventional methods,just as they were for centuries until 25 years ago. The jury is definitely out on the safety of these organisms.
