Subject: NOVEMBER 19, 2013 BILL 113 DRAFT 3 SUPPORT
To Council Chair and all Council Members
Without registration, there is no way of knowing if someone increased their current GMO
acreage, started GMO on parcels that never had GMO before, OR if the GMO gene (s) did cause
health problems of any kind to land, water, people, animals, plants, etc. , it would be
difficult, if not impossible, to isolate where those GMO crops were being grown.
WE ARE EXPLICITLY IN FAVOR OF PASSING BILL 113 DRAFT 3 AS IT IS NOW.
WE MUST HAVE PROTECTION FROM THE VIOLATION OF ALL OF OUR NON GMO CROPS WITH REGISTRATION
OF GMO CROPS GROWN IN HAWAII COUNTY, PLEASE.
THE TIME OF HASHING OUT COMMITTEE MATTERS IS DONE.
