It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. George "David" Nahuina to the County of Hawai'i
Merit Appeals Board. Mr. Nahuina is a 47-year resident of Hawai'i. He is employed by
the Department of Education as a teacher at Kealakehe Intermediate School.
Mr. Nahuina is a youth basketball coach and a member of the Instructional Leadership
Team. He states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will
serve a term to end on December 31, 2018.
