Subject: Upcoming County Bond for Puna
Let me put this very simply: I have been a county property tax payer in Hawaiian Paradise Park for the
past 28 +years and I have yet to see any parks, swimming pools, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, bike
trails, basketball courts, police substation, public schools, or a potable water station constructed in HPP.
With a current population of over 12,000 people, this subdivision is WAY under served by this county.
What are the populations of Pahoa, Mountain View, Keaau, Hawaiian Beaches, or Waimea? Yet, they
all have some or all of these facilities that we don't even have one of.
Let's start serving the population of Hawaiian Paradise Park.
