To Hawaii Fire Fighters Association Bargaining Unit 11 and Employees

My name is Robert H. Lee and I am the President of the Hawaii Fire Fighters
Association, Local 1463,AFL-CIO. The HFFA represents approximately 2,100 active
professional fire fighters throughout the State which includes more than 350 County of Hawaii
Fire Fighters. HFFA strongly supports Resolution 240-13—Collective Bargaining Cost Items for
Bargaining Unit 11 (Hawaii Fire Fighters Association).
The arbitration award is a result of two-plus years of negotiation and arbitration
proceedings. It is a fair award for our members and we respectfully request your support in
approving Resolution 240-13 to fund the collective bargaining cost items included in the
arbitration award. Thank you.
