Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 174,
reports as follows:
Bill No. 174, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H. Lee, via Communication No. 584
dated December 18, 2013, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-255, Schedule
3 (25 mile per hour limit), subsection (c), South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005
Edition, as amended), by adding "Haleloke Street" and renumbering as required.
The purpose of this measure is to revise the speed limit of Haleloke Street to 25 mph to match
the lower section.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Bill No. 174, and recommends its passage on first reading.
