As a person who purchases organic produce from our local farmers and grocery stores, allowing GMO's to grow under open-air conditions and without regulation will come to haunt us in years to come. We have many organic farmers here who could possible lose their organic certification if wind-blown GMO seeds, or carried by birds or water end up in their fields. Also, GMO seeds are not allowed to be kept from year to year and they require more fertilizer and pesticides than organic plants. Our farmers would be in debt to seed companies who own the seeds. They could be fined if they keep seeds for the next year's crop. The data of GMO to yield more per acre and feed the world are not proven and the studies have been done by the seed companies themselves. Until there is further objective proof and studies to show that GMO's are equivalent to seeds from nature, I for one, am against allowing us to be the guinea pigs for their studies. Please vote YES on Bill 113. Mahalo, Comm. No, '393. 5002 Ref.To: Ref.Data NO_,V,9-M .— 11/21/2013
