Please do as our sister island is doing in terms of thinking long-term and not only short-term. Please be thoughtful for the long-term well-being for our land, all of our farmers (and not only selected farmers), and for our people and their health in years to come. It is time to be conservative in our environmental policies and activities, time to preserve the land in righteousness for our children, grandchildren, and beyond. It is time to be responsible caretakers of the aina. That time is upon us right now. Please support Bill 113, as so many are sincerely urging you to do. Serve the people, rather than the lobbyists and the corporations, whenever you can in the years ahead. There is wisdom in our caution and concern. Listen to the people, hear their sincerity, their mana. Aloha, Ron Gordon Ronald D.
