Albezia is an unsafe flora on this island and should be removed wherever it grows . Despite the lack of quorum by the committee, the negative recommendation recently recorded is not truly representative of the best interests of the citizens of this island. Such a vague, procedurally produced recommendation should not be allowed to stand as the final recommendation of this committee on such an important issue. I applaud Chair Kern and Councilperson Wylie for submitting a pending motion that will allow the council to vote properly to recommend passage of Bill 64 and not hide behind pa rliamentary procedure. With a positive recommendation, and testimony from citizens that are endangered every day driving under the branches of the larger albezia trees, I'm sure the full council will see the wisdom behind Bill 64 and pass it promptly. Thanks for your support and hard work on this issue. Scott Stoddard Orchidland Estates Comm:Noy?1/6. Ref.To. /ENC. Ref. Date. AUG 2 0 2013
