ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS Res. 272-14: PROPOSES A STATE BILL RELATING TO THE COUNTIES’ AUTHORITY TO REGULATE THE CULTIVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF GENETICALLY ENGINEERED CROPS AND PLANTS AND ASSOCIATED PESTICIDES Requests the State Legislature to pass a bill (attached as Exhibit A) that would provide the counties greater authority over agricultural matters. Page 2 GREDC-15 February 4, 2014 Res. 277-14: URGES THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO PROVIDE MATCHING FUNDS FOR THE PLANNING, DESIGN, AND CONSTRUCTION OF A PARKING LOT AND A STUDENT DROP-OFF/PICK-UP FACILITY AT HONOKA‘A ELEMENTARY SCHOOL The proposed facility would provide additional parking and improved access to the school. The facility would have a covered sidewalk for students and be shared with Honoka‘a Park.
