RESOLUTION NO. 302 14
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE BUILDING MATERIALS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF NEW GATES AT HALE HALAWAI.
WHEREAS, Hale Halawai is a park and recreational facility used by citizens of the
County of Hawai`i for elderly activities, family celebrations, community meetings, classes, and
other large events; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, needs to
purchase building materials for the construction of new gates at Hale Halawai; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase materials for the construction of new gates
at Hale Halawai; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $7,500
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5505.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $7,500

(Building Materials for Hale Halawai Gates)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
