Hendricks, of Council District 1 to the County of Hawai'i <br /> Police Commission. Mr. Hendricks is a 50-year resident of Hawai'i. He was an education <br /> specialist with the State of Hawai'i Department of Land and Natural Resources from 1988 to <br /> 2000. From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Hendricks served as the County of Hawai'i's Deputy Managing <br /> Director. He is presently retired. <br /> Mr. Hendricks is the past president and current member of both the Waimea Community <br /> Assocation and the Kawaihae Canoe Club. He is the vice president of the Waimea <br /> Preservation Association, a member of the Waimea Nature Park, and he volunteers with the <br /> YMCA. Mr. Hendricks states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will <br /> serve a term that ends on December 31, 2018, replacing Carol Ignacio, whose term ended on <br /> December 31, 2013. <br /> Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at your convenience.
