Takamine to the Water Board <br /> EXPLANATION: From Mayor William P. Kenoi, submitting for the Council's <br /> review and confirmation Mr. Takamine's nomination. If <br /> confirmed, he will serve a term to end on December 31, 2018. <br /> A lifelong resident of Hawaii, Mr. Takamine is President of <br /> Takamine Construction, Inc. He currently serves on the Board of <br /> Directors of the Kanoelehua Industrial Association and the Hawaii <br /> Island Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he served in the past a <br /> President of the Hawaii Contractors Association and as an <br /> advisory board member of the Career and Technical Program at the <br /> Hawaii Community College. Mr. Takamine states that he is not <br /> affiliated with any political party. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Confirmation of the appointment of Craig S.
