Subject: no gmo on the Big Island
Aloha,
I have come to the Big Island 2 times, last winter and the winter before from Seattle. I love your island
and the people are so warm and welcoming. It is so nurturing, I can't imagine taking a vacation
anywhere else.
Recently I became aware that there is a lot of GMO testing and food growing in Hawaii. This really
takes the rejuvenation feeling away. I don't really want to be floating in pesticides and who knows what
else as I'm snorkeling in the ocean. I want to trust seafood and produce I'm eating.
Please get that stuff off of the Big Island... Its an opportunity to lead the way to healthy farming
practices. You can become the model for others to follow. As more and more people become aware of
what GMOs are doing to us, it will be good for marketing to visitors like me...
