SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
SECTION 24-265 - KAALAIKI ROAD - YIELD LOCATION
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 2. Moving
Vehicles, Section 24-265, Schedule 13. Yield locations, Paragraph (d) Kau be amended
by adding new item and renumbering as required:
( ) KAALAIKI ROAD, NORTHEAST APPROACH ADJACENT TO PARCELS 9-5-
008:001 AND 9-5-008:010.
This amendment is being proposed based on a request to address the limited visibility
of oncoming traffic caused by the poor road geometrics at the subject location.
A location map is attached for your reference.
