Home My WebLink AboutORD 1977-244 1976-1980 BILL NO . 262 COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII ORDINANCE NO. 244 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17, HAWAII COUNTY CODE, RELATING TO DEDICATION OF LAND FOR PARKS AND PLAYGROUNDS OR THE PAYMENT OF MONEY IN LIEU THEREOF, AS A CONDITION PRECEDENT TO FINAL APPROVAL OF A SUBDIVISION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII : SECTION 1. Chapter 17, Article 2, Section 1, is hereby amended by deleting Item G. SECTION 2. Chapter 17, Article 2, Section 4-D is hereby amended to read as follows : "D. Land and building subdivisions involving ten (10 ) lots/units or less and /aall vacant lots and/or7 new units falling under the purview of Article 2, Section 1-F nand 1-G7 shall be required /the payment of7 to pay fees only in the amount of $250 per lot/unit; provided, however, that other terms of payment may be required if the proposed subdivision does not represent the maximum feasible development possible for the subject land as determined by the Director. " SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. When incorporating this ordinance into the Hawaii County Code, the incorporator need not include the brackets , the bracketed material, or the underscoring. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect as of July 1, 1977.
