BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII : SECTION 1. Schedule 12 (NO-PARKING ZONES) of Chapter 6 , Article 15 , Section 8 , Hawaii County Code 1975 , as amended , is hereby amended by amending the following items under the "SOUTH HILO" category: A. Item 30 ("Mauka side of Kilauea Avenue from a point 220 feet south of Barenaba Lane southerly to Kohola Street, except for the five (5) marked parking stalls south of the Kilauea Avenue-Mohouli Street intersection . " ) is amended to read: "30 . Kilauea Avenue, mauka side, from a point 220 feet south of Barenaba Lane to Kohola Street. '' B. Item 31 ("Makai side of Kilauea Avenue from Aupuni Street to Kohola Street. " ) is amended to read: "31 . Kilauea Avenue, makai side , from Kohola Street to a point 320 feet Hamakua of Aupuni Street. " C. Item 90 ("The five marked parking stalls on the mauka side of Kilauea Avenue located on the south side of the Kilauea Avenue-Mohouli Street intersection from 4 :00 p.m. to 6 :00 p.m. daily except Sundays and holidays . ") is amended to read: "90 . Kilauea Avenue , makai side, beginning at a point 240 feet Puna of Pauahi Street and extending 760 feet in the Hamakua direction. " SECTION 2 . Schedule 11 (TIME-LIMIT PARKING ZONES) Chapter 6 , Article 15 , Section 7 , Hawaii County Code 1975 , as amended, is hereby amended by amending the "ONE-HOUR PARKING AREAS" category as follows : A. Item 22 is hereby rescinded. B. Item 23 ( "The three (3) marked parking stalls on the Hamakua (north) side of Mohouli Street adjacent to Kapiolani School and located within 125 feet from Kilauea Avenue from 7 :00 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. daily except Sundays and Holidays . ") is amended to read : "23 . Those marked stalls on either side of Mohouli Street between Kilauea Avenue and a point 160 feet mauka of Kilauea Avenue, between 7:00 a.m. and 4 :00 p.m. daily except Sundays and holidays . " SECTION 3 . Schedule 16 (PARKING-METER ZONES) of Chapter 6 , Article 17 , Section 1 , Hawaii County Code 1975 , as amended, is hereby amended by amending the "ONE HOUR PARKING- METER ZONES" category as follows : A. Item 16 is hereby rescinded. B. Item 17 ("The three (3) marked parking stalls on the Hamakua (north) side of Mohouli Street adjacent to Kapiolani School and located within 125 feet from Kilauea Avenue from 7 : 00 a.m. to 4 :00 p.m. daily except Sundays and holidays . ") is amended to read: "17 . Those marked stalls on either side of Mohouli Street between Kilauea Avenue and a point 160 feet mauka of Kilauea Avenue , between 7: 00 a.m. and 4 :00 p.m. daily except Sundays and. holidays . " SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
