ORDINANCE NO. 257
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6 (TRAFFIC CODE) , ARTICLE 16,
SECTION 4, HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1975, BY ADDING NEW BUS STOPS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1 . Schedule 15 (Bus Stops) of Chapter 6,
Article 16, Section 4, Hawaii County Code 1975, as amended,
is hereby amended by adding thereto under the "SOUTH HILO"
category the following items :
Kamehameha Avenue, mauka side, beginning
from a point 10 feet Puna of Haili Street and extending
in the Puna direction for a distance of 95 feet.
" . Kinoole Street, makai side, beginning from a
point 10 feet Puna, of the Puna side, of the Puna-end
entrance of Hawaiian Telephone Company parking lot
and extending in the Hamakua direction for a distance
of 195 feet.
" Kilauea Avenue, makai side, beginning from the
Hamakua side of the Puna-end entrance of Kilauea
Center and extending in the Hamakua direction for a
distance of 120 feet.
" Kilauea Avenue, mauka side, beginning from the
Puna side of the Hawaii County Employees Federal Credit
Union driveway and extending in the Puna direction for
a distance of 120 feet."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval .
