RESOLUTION NO. 293 14

A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO REFURBISH PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AT
THE ARTHUR C. GREENWELL PARK.
WHEREAS, the playground equipment is in disrepair and is not being used at the Arthur
C. Greenwell Park (Yano Hall) in Captain Cook; and
WHEREAS, replacement parts of the playground equipment is needed to greatly
enhance the children's playground area and enhance the satisfaction of the keiki of the
community; and
WHEREAS, the Mauka Rotary Club of Kona has volunteered to dismantle, replace and
reassemble the playground equipment as their community service project; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be used to refurbish
the playground equipment at the Arthur C. Greenwell Park; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the Director
of Finance is authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
