Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 197, reports as follows:
Bill No. 197, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 657 dated
January 30, 2014, amends Ordinance No. 13-65, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawai`i for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014. The amendment is as follows:
From:
020.3609.08 Fund Balance From Previous Year- Reserved Highway $ 274,703.67
To:
020.801.5801.34 Transfer to Capital Projects Fund - Highway Highway $ 274,703.67
This bill appropriates revenues in the Fund Balance From Previous Year- Reserved account($274,703.67);
and appropriates same to the Transfer to Capital Projects Fund - Highway account. These fiscal year
2011-2012 excess fuel tax revenues would be appropriated to the Transfer to the Capital Projects Fund to be
expended by the Public Works Department.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 197, and recommends its
passage on first reading.
