Taniguchi, of Council District 2 to the Hawai'i <br /> County Liquor Commission. Mr. Taniguchi is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. He is the <br /> Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of the Bank of Hawaii. <br /> Mr. Taniguchi recently served as a member of the Hawai'i County Water Board. He is a <br /> past president and current member of the Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce, the <br /> Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Hawaii, the Japanese Community <br /> Association, the Rotary Club of Hilo Bay, and the East Hawaii Hiroshima Kenjinkai. Mr. <br /> Taniguchi is also a member of the Waiakea High School PTSA. He states that he is not <br /> affiliated with any political party.
