Home My WebLink AboutORD 1998-104 1996-1998 COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 284 i 1, ORDINANCE NO. 98 104 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 98-50, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1998 TO JUNE 30, 1999. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to reappropriate the lapsed 1992-94 fuel tax district appropriations. Because the original amounts were established by formula and to maintain equity, lapsed district funds would be reappropriated back to the respective districts. SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 98-50, Relating to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 1998 to June 30, 1999, is hereby amended by establishing the following district appropriations: DISTRICT AMOUNTS Puna $ 29,861.80 South Hilo 266,861.34 North Kona 189,754.32 $486,477.46 Allotments from these district appropriations shall be made to the specific projects listed on the attached Exhibit A. SECTION 3. Funds for these projects shall be provided from the Fund Balance-Fuel Tax 92- 94 Account [2271.24] of the Capital Projects Fund. SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
