RESOLUTION NO. 324 i 4
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR FIREWORKS FOR THE 4th OF JULY PROGRAM IN
HILO
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is in need of funding to purchase
supplies for the annual fireworks display in Hilo Bay, which commemorates the 4th of July; and
WHEREAS, this purchase will enable the Department of Parks and Recreation to continue a
long-standing and highly anticipated annual event; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the
Department of Parks and Recreation to assist in the purchase of the supplies; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $10,000
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5517.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $10,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution
to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is
hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
