RESOLUTION NO. 322 14
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO REGULATION
SIZE TABLE TENNIS TABLES FOR THE KEKUAOKALANI GYMNASIUM.
WHEREAS, the Kekuaokalani Gymnasium at Kailua Park wishes to develop and
promote the table tennis sport as part of its youth recreation programs; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, needs to
purchase two regulation size table tennis tables for the community's use, to provide basic skills
and training and to teach the fundamentals of table tennis; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation for the purchase of two regulation size table tennis
tables; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
