Aloha County Council Members,
I oppose the acceptance of the easement for Kohala Kai, LLC
under Resolution 140-13
This is my final testimony, and will say one more time and I
demand that you follow the laws that were put in place to protect
us.
Stop this erosion of our culture, Rescind Resolution 140-13; and
preserve our ancient trails including the Ala Loa
The fact remains that Hawaiians traveled and still do on the Ala
Loa since Governor Kuakini built it under the umbrella of the safe
passage as guaranteed by Kamehameha Nui, the ruler at that
time. As indigenous Hawaiians did then and still do now, I
demand safe passage on Ala Loa, and request the County of
Hawaii, to protect my cultural resource our Ala Loa, and myself
and my `Ghana
Mamalahoe is the prevailing law!
