A. REQUEST:
Approval to enter a multi-year lease of real property from the Hawaii Public Housing Authority for the Kea'au
Nutrition Center, 16-189 Pili Mua Street, Kea'au, HI 9672g. Tex Map Key: 1-6-143:35.
Lease terms will be for 3yrs with 2 renewal extensions of 1 yr. $125 per month, per site shall be paid for
shared utility costs.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Department of Parks and Recreation is currently utilizing the location as a nutrition site to provide meals
for the elderly. The Hawaii Public Housing Authority has agreed to enter into a 3 yr lease agreement to allow
the nutrition center to continue operations in the upcoming years.
