RESOLUTION NO. 348 14
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR BUILDING MATERIALS TO CONSTRUCT A
DIRECTORY AT THE KUKUIHAELE CEMETERY.
WHEREAS, the families of loved ones buried at the Kukuihaele Cemetery do not have a
proper cemetery directory; and
WHEREAS, the Lions Club of Hamakua, a community service organization, have
volunteered to construct the Kukuihaele Cemetery directory with materials provided by the
Department of Parks and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, the Lions Club of Hamakua has been volunteering their service to the
Hamakua community since 1934; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to help purchase building materials for the construction
of a directory at the Kukuihaele Cemetery; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance, and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
