Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr.Jeffrey C. Fear of Council District 8 to the County of
Hawaii Environmental Management Commission. Mr. Fear is a 54-year resident of
Hawaii. He is a self-employed painting contractor.
Mr. Fear is president the of Waveriders Against Drugs. This group sponsors DARE Day
in Kona, and also organizes the West Hawaii Beach Clean up that stretches from
Anaehoomalu-Bay to Milolii. Mr. Fear states that he is not affiliated with any political
party. If confirmed, he will a vacant term that expires on December 31, 2017.
