LOCATION: Council Chambers, Kona, Hawai`i
TITLE: An Ordinance amending the state land use boundaries maps
for the County of Hawai`i by changing the district
classification from the agricultural to the urban district at
Keonepoko, Puna, Hawaii (Tax Map Key: 1-5-007:061).
EXPLANATION: The area covers 1 acre. The Windward Planning
Commission forwards its favorable recommendation on the
amendment to the State Land Use Boundaries Map to allow
establishment of a commercial food processing facility
within an existing warehouse across from the Woodland
Center Shopping Center on the east side of Kahakai
Boulevard in Pahoa. The applicant is Jerry Souza.
AMENDMENTS: Comm. No. Introducer Approved/Disapproved
(none)
RECOMMENDATION: Passage of Bill No. 211 on first reading.
