Page 7 FC-29 March 18, 2014 Bill 215: AMENDS CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 25, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS Replaces the requirement that any equipment purchased through a grant award from the Contingency Relief Fund to a nonprofit organization be purchased pursuant to procurement law and be kept as property of the County, with a new provision providing that such equipment would be purchased without procurement law restrictions and would become the property of the nonprofit organization, with that nonprofit organization assuming liability.
