Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Thomas H. Lodge of Council District 5 to the County of
Hawaii Game Management Advisory Commission'. Mr. Lodge is a lifelong resident of
Hawaii. He is self- employed in insurance sales.
Mr. Lodge states that he is a Republican. He was confirmed to this commission in
January 2013, for a one year term. Hawai'i County Charter Section 13-4(c), states that
"members of any board or commission appointed for a term of two years or less shall be
eligible to succeed themselves for an additional full term." If Mr. Lodge is confirmed
today, he will serve a full term to end on December 31, 2018.
