SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 354-14, Draft 2; A Resolution
Transferring/Appropriating an Appropriation Out and From the Designated Fund
Account and Crediting Same to a Designated Fund Account to Provide a Grant to
`O Ka`u Kakou for the Na`alehu 4th of July Activities
Please find attached Resolution No. 354-14, Draft 2. Resolution No. 354-14 was amended by
the contents of Communication No. 771.1, as duly approved by the Council on April 1, 2014.
The Council suspended Council Rule No. 24(1)(e), which requires that legislation amended in
substantive manner be held over to the next meeting of the Council, and subsequently adopted
Resolution No. 354-14, Draft 2. The Council also waived its five-day holdover reconsideration
period in an effort to expedite this transfer of funds.
