'--'O • STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 365 14 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR A REFRIGERATOR-FREEZER FOR THE PAHALA COMMUNITY CENTER. WHEREAS, the Food Basket Incorporated ("Food Basket") wants to improve their ability to increase the amount and type of foods provided for persons in need and perhaps increase the number of deliveries per week. Currently, only dry goods and canned goods can be provided due to lack refrigeration at the distribution points. The Food Basket has approached the County of Hawaii for assistance; and WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation provides use of its community centers to allow the Food Basket to deliver food on prearranged days and for community volunteers to distribute the donated food the next day; and WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation rents its community centers for community events and wants to provide refrigeration capacity for the sponsors of such events to keep food safe; and WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase an Energy Star refrigerator-freezer for the Pahala Community Center; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: FUND: General AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $2,000 OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5105.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency;Relief $2,000
