Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to be known as the Salary Ordinance of 2014. The only
amendments are in Section 3(B) for minimal charges to salary amounts to ensure proper rounding.

SUBJECT: Salary Ordinance of 2014
Enclosed is the Salary Ordinance of 2014 for submittal to the County Council.
In 2013, Council passed an amendment to the Salary Ordinance of 2013 to grant
raises to the majority of the legislative support positions. After reviewing the
approved salary changes, it was identified that many of them were not adjusted
for payroll purposes and do not divide out evenly. The attached proposed
Salary Ordinance for 2014 includes adjustments made for payroll purposes.
