COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> of..... <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 373 14 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING THE SAME TO <br /> A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO THE ARTS & <br /> SCIENCES CENTER FOR HAWAII ACADEMY OF ARTS AND SCIENCE'S SENIOR <br /> PROJECT NIGHT. <br /> WHEREAS, Hawai`i Academy of Arts& Science (HAAS) is a public charter school <br /> located in the Puna district; and <br /> WHEREAS, Arts & Sciences Center, a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization, will provide <br /> the HAAS graduating class of 2014 with a Senior Project Night on May 16, 2014; and <br /> WHEREAS, Senior Project Night provides a safe, alcohol- and drug-free environment <br /> for graduating high school students of HAAS; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2) of the Hawai`i County Code, Contingency <br /> Relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via resolution <br /> identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project,or event for which the <br /> grant shall be used; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to <br /> the Department of Liquor Control to provide a grant to Arts& Sciences Center to help pay for <br /> expenses associated with the HAAS Senior Project Night on May 16, 2014; now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $1,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $1,000 <br /> Public Programs <br /> 115 Misc.
