WATER BOARD - COMMUNICATION 729

Aloha Ch irm n and Members of the County Council,
I write to humbly request your support of the nomination of Jay Uyeda to
the Water Board.
I have worked with Mr. Uyeda for the past two years and find his
dedication and ethics exceptional. As a member of the Water Board, Mr. Uyeda
technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex engineering
terminology in a simple, easy to understand format has been extremely helpful
to me.
I have come to appreciate and rely on Mr. Uyeda's engineering skill sets
along with this leveling and calming influence to provide a comprehensive
evaluation of items before the Water Board.
I trust you and other members of the County Council will recognize these
outstanding qualities and talents and confirm Mr. Uyeda's appointment.
