Aloha,
I am writing to you to share my concerns about the importance of Communication 721 World renowned scientist David Suzuki has this great quote
about how there are certain things we cannot change-gravity,the speed of light and our biological need for clean air,water,soil,energy and
biodiversity for survival.I'm sure there a those that you tell,oh,I'm on the county council and their reaction is nonchalant.But I know and I hope you
know what a huge responsibility it is.For many important issues,you are the first line of defense to choose the well being of all the people over the
push for the profit for a few When it comes to water,if the right choices are not made now,it could lead to irreversible damage to the island.Under
current zoning demand for water is already predicted to exceed sustainalbe yield.Changes need to happen now Please designate the Keauhou Aquifer
System Ground Water Management Area.Please keep in mind most of Oahu is designated a WMA and it has by no means affected their economic
growth.
