Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Resolution No. 357-14,
reports as follows:
Resolution No. 357-14, transmitted by Assistant Corporation Counsel Katherine A. Garson, via
Communication No. 774 dated March 24, 2014, accepts the dedication of Road Lot 40 (Hokulani Street
Extension and Halekole Street Extension), being a portion of Tax Map Key: (3) 2-5-065:040 situate at
Punahoa Mauka Subdivision, Punahoa IS`, District of South Hilo, Island of Hawaii, from Akalea, Inc.
Akalea, LLC is desirous of dedicating Road Lot 40, including all subdivision improvements thereon, to
the County of Hawaii for roadway purposes.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and intent of
Resolution No. 357-14, and recommends its adoption.
