'10 <br /> f <br /> O 7 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 401 1.4 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PURCHASE OF CITRIC ACID FOR THE <br /> NORTH AND SOUTH KONA, KA`U, AND GREATER VOLCANO AREAS OF <br /> COUNCIL DISTRICTS 6, 7, AND 8. <br /> WHEREAS, the Kona communities have experienced an infestation of coqui frogs and <br /> are challenged with the noise and nuisance that theses frogs are causing; and <br /> WHEREAS, the coqui frogs negatively affect Hawaii Island's economy, environment <br /> and quality of life; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Research and Development will collaborate with the <br /> Hawaii County Economic Opportunity Council to use funds to provide citric acid at a <br /> reasonable cost; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to <br /> the Department of Research and Development to purchase citric acid for the North and South <br /> Kona, Ka`u, and greater Volcano areas of Council Districts 6, 7, and 8; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $1,470 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $1,470 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.161.5161.22 Department of Research and Development $1,470 <br /> Agriculture R&D OCE <br /> 115 Misc.
