Re: Comm. No. 780/Bill No. 228
Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 228, reports as follows:
Bill No. 228, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 780 dated
March 28, 2014, amends Ordinance No. 13-65, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii
for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014. The amendment is as follows:
From:
010.3301.19 Federal — 2013 Block Grant General $ 127,655.00
To:
010.931.5935.44 Removal of Architectural Barriers — Americans with
Disabilities Act Compliance — Various County
Facilities General $ 75,000.00
010.931.5935.46 Boys and Girls Club of the Big Island
- Certified Kitchen Construction General $ 52,655.00
Total $ 127,655.00
These grant funds will be utilized to provide accessibility improvements to a County facility and to construct a
certified kitchen for the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Island.
"There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 228, and recommends its
passage on first reading.
