Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year, for a
new multi-year agreement to lease a medium-volume copier for the Department of Parks and
Recreation. The machine they currently use has a lease which will soon expire. They wish to
replace it with a new unit, at the Kamana Senior Center in Hilo, Hawaii to be used by their
Elderly Activities Division's Administration section, Elderly Recreation Services and other
offices at this location.

A. REQUEST:
Multi-year lease agreement for a medium volume copier for the Elderly Activities Division.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Multi-year lease on current copier will expire. Would like to enter into a new 5-year lease on a new
medium volume copier. Copier is heavily utilized by both the EAD Admin., Elderly Recreation Services
& other offices at Kamana Sr. Ctr. There is no other copier for use in these offices.
