y L�Jiy,•, <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII • STATE OF HAWAII <br /> fir[OF•M�'i, <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3S"? 14 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO <br /> A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR WILDLAND FIREFIGHTING BOOTS AND <br /> EQUIPMENT FOR VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS IN NORTH KOHALA, WAIKI`I <br /> AND KANEHOA IN NORTH AND SOUTH KOHALA. <br /> WHEREAS, volunteer firefighters are a critical and much needed support team who <br /> assist the Hawaii Fire Department in responding to emergencies; and <br /> WHEREAS, there are three volunteer fire stations with a total of 27 volunteers in <br /> Council District 9; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department is requesting funds for the purchase of <br /> wildland firefighting boots and equipment for volunteer firefighters at North Kohala, Waiki`i, <br /> and Kanehoa in North and South Kohala; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to <br /> the Hawaii Fire Department for the purchase of wildland firefighting boots and equipment for <br /> volunteer firefighters at the North Kohala, Waiki`i, and Kanehoa volunteer fire stations in North <br /> and South Kohala; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $5,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $5,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.221.5226.02 Hawaii Fire Department $5,000 <br /> Training and Volunteer Fire OCE <br /> 231 Public Safety Supplies <br /> (Firefighting Boots & Equipment - North <br /> Kohala, Waiki`i, and Kanehoa Volunteer <br /> Firefighters) <br />
