In Honor of the Malama Honua Worldwide Voyage
We are requesting presentation of a Certificate of Commendation on the May 1, 2014 Council
meeting in Kona. This Certificate of Commendation to the Polynesian Voyaging Society, is to
honor, commend, and recognize the navigators and crew members as they prepare to embark on
the Malama Honua Worldwide Voyage, aboard Hokule`a and the Hikianalia.
We expect to take approximately 20 minutes Thank you.

Through Its Mission: "To Navigate Toward A Healthy And Sustainable Future For Ourselves,
Our Home- The Hawaiian Islands-And Our Island Earth Through Voyaging And New Ways Of Learning."
