RESOLUTION NO. 425 14
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR ROADWAY DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS IN
COUNCIL DISTRICT 2.
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works is in need of funding to assist in
improving roadway drainage conditions to minimize flooding of adjacent properties; and
WHEREAS, this funding will assist the Department of Public Works in constructing the
necessary improvements; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to
the Department of Public Works for roadway drainage improvements; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

APPROPRIATION: $20,000
OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC — Contingency Relief $20,000
CREDITED TO:
010.801.5801.33 Department of Public Works $20,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Public Works and Director of Finance and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
