No. 827/Res. No. 390-14 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 390-14, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 390-14, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 827 <br />dated April 14, 2014, authorizes the Office of the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the <br />United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service, pursuant to Hawaii Revised <br />Statutes 46-7, to provide for paramedic ambulance service to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. <br />A cooperative agreement between the Hawaii Fire Department and the State would identify each <br />jurisdiction's responsibilities in providing the above services to the staff, visitors, and surrounding <br />community of Volcanoes National Park. <br />Fire Chief Darren Rosario appeared before Your Committee for questions. He informed the Council <br />that the Memorandums of Agreement are renewal agreements.
